They have beautiful luster and are strung quite well. A day before they arrived, I received an email from the owner explaining why they are strung so tight, and what that means for "breaking in" the rope. Very helpful information!So why the 4 stars and not 5? The pearls are freshwater, cultured. That's fine. A string of this length of natural ocean pearls would cost a bundle. Two bundles! My problem is that the pictured pearls are much more spherical than the somewhat ovoid pearls that I received. Granted, you want to put the product in the best light, but maybe the description could be a bit more truthful in the shape department. Nicely, the long dimension of the slight ovoid seems to be the dimension where the pearl is drilled through and it seems to be consistent. All in all, a very nice product for the price! |
